QuickSwitch Technology for cost-effective and flexible production
“We are delighted that such a renowned customer has chosen our QuickSwitch Technology,” explains Andreas Kessler, General Sales Manager at KraussMaffei Berstorff Munich.
“For us, that is proof that processors in Asia also find value in the cost-effective aspects of our in-line dimension change system,” continues Kessler. With this system, Georg Fischer (GF) will produce HDPE pipes using the QuickSwitch process for the 160 – 250 mm diameter range and will generate an enormous potential for savings due to the high performance capacity and productivity. Small order batches and the elimination of set-up times provide maximum flexibility and thus, a real competitive advantage.
