Uponor: Quality since 1972: 2,5 billion metres PE-Xa-pipes produced

[inspic=6,left,,0]More than 2,5 billion metres peroxide networked polyethylene pipe (PE-Xa-pipe) ran out of the extruders with Uponor until end of July since the start of the production 35 years ago. That record argues for the high demand and the high quality of the proven PE-Xa pipe. The plastic pipe that is produced in the dimensions from 6 until 110 mm is particularly applied as system pipe for applications with drinking water installations, heating connections as well as for heating and cooling operations in planar tempering systems.[inspic=148,right,fullscreen,220] The PE-Xa pipe of Uponor proved itself for decades in the practice application in challenging system utilizations due to its material properties. For the domain of the domestic installation the high fatigue resistance and the tested heat as well as chemical resistance of the PE-Xa pipe offer the pre-conditions for a lasting practice application. That is situated in installation systems of drinking water and planar tempering systems from the one-family house until the industry plant. Furthermore, inspections and authorisations of the PE-Xa pipes offer an additional safety for the whole system because all applied components are coordinated and are taken as complete system.3-dimensional and high pressure networked: The PE-Xa pipe
The procedure that is used by Uponor relies in the plastic pipe production on the essential improvementof the base material polyethylene. With this procedure the polyethylene is high pressure networked

The hereby arising homogenously networked molecular chain give the pipes their material properties like excellent heat ageing resistance and creep resistance with higher temperatures particularly for the application with challenging installation in planar tempering systems. There, the PE-Xa pipe is applied …
