‘ISH China Goes Cross Country’ programme a continued success.

ISH China 2008, the leading international trade fair in China for the sanitation, heating and air-conditioning sectors, is scheduled from 19 – 22 February at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai. To promote ISH China 2008, fair organiser Messe Frankfurt recently hosted a series of mini-events throughout the Mainland China region helping manufacturers of heating & ventilation equipment to promote new products, develop marketing strategies and establish business ties.The third edition of the ‘ISH China Goes Cross Country’ programme was well received by both exhibitors and visitors who were delighted to be involved in the exchange series. Visitor attendance was impressive with 142 in Nanjing (Jiangsu province), 161 in Xian (Shaanxi province), and 123 in Shenyang (Liaoning province). The three-city programme had been specifically designed to increase awareness of the upcoming ISH China 2008 event in all areas of the country.

Participating manufacturers included A.O. Smith (China) Water Heater Company Ltd., Demrad China, Qingdao Ferroli HVAC Technologies & Equipments Manufactory Co., Ltd., Fluidics Instruments B.V. Shanghai Rep. Office, Merloni TermoSanitari (China) Co., Ltd., Ostberg (Kunshan) Fan Co., Ltd., Uponor GmbH, Beijing Representative Office and Shanghai Zhenhao Room Heating Co., Ltd. Exhibitors were pleased with the effect of the destination programme.

Chief Representative of Fluidics Instruments B.V. Shanghai Rep. Office, Ms. Grace Lu, noted the value of the programme as a European brand recently emerging in the China market and how it “played an active role in our own brand promotion, reputation establishment and market development.”

Approximately 40% of visitors were designers or from design institutes, 25% were traders or agents, 15% were end-users, and 6% were real estate developers. The remainder were product manufacturers, media and association representatives.

The China District Heating Association and various other regional organisations including the Shaanxi Provincial Gas & Heating Administration Centre, the Jiangsu Association of Refrigeration and the Nanjing Real Estate Development & Construction Committee showed their support of the pre-event.

“ISH China Goes Cross Country has brought us the leading companies, products and technologies”, said Mr. Zhang Jianzhong, Mechanical Chief Engineer for Nanjing Architectural Design & Research. “The event has given visitors an opportunity to gather the latest industry related product and services, including marketing information, allowing us to create business relationships and exchange information. We profited greatly from this activity, and plan to attend this event again.”

The seventh ISH China will display items that include modern heating installations and equipment, and air-conditioning and ventilation products with particular focus on energy saving and renewable energies. In addition to the main exhibition, there will be a specialist conference / symposium, plus a number of other technical seminars, product demonstrations, and company presentations for exhibitors and visitors to enjoy.
