[inspic=173,left,,100]COESTHERM® HEXA® MULTILAYER PIPE is the innovative new range of multilayer pipes made of PPR proposed by Coes for hot and cold water adduction for plumbing systems.
Thanks to the 3-layer pipe made of compound PP-RCT (polymer with a fine but very dense hexago-nal crystalline structure) Coes proposes an absolute innovation in 100% plastic material, without using fibreglass, to relaunch the random polypropylene sector for welding.
The advantages of the Coes proposal are increased capacity, thanks to the reduction in the thick-ness of the walls of the pipe, greater strength than any other PPR pipe and longer duration in time. The Hexa range is the only proposal of pipes guaranteed 50 years at a pressure of 10 bar and an operating temperature of 70°C.
The COESTHERM® HEXA® MULTILAYER PIPE range of pipes is produced in three layers:
- the inner layer, made of light green PP-RCT is totally smooth to eliminate the loss of load. It resists the chemical aggression of water;
- the middle layer, made of neutral coloured compound PP-RCT, guarantees high resistance to pressure and mechanical stress;
- the outer layer, made of dark green PPR, guarantees considerable resistance to thermal age and total compatibility with the joints for welding of the Coestherm line.

greater strength and durability: the Charpy test from 0°C and 26°C and the pressure resistance test over time prove the exceptional mechanical resistance to cracking and breakage and a guaranteed duration, after installation, of 50 years at a temperature of 70°C
