Since its foundation in 1996, the company will participate in the biggest plastics and rubber trade show in Asia for the 13th consecutive time. Its booth will be located in the extrusion machinery zone of Hall 11.1, B zone, L41.
Battenfeld (Foshan) will present its strong competence in the engineering, design and manufac-ture of complete pipe extrusion lines.
Latest success: The company shipped two complete Polybutylene (PB) pipe lines in February 2009. Each PB pipe line comprises a single-screw extruder BCE1-60-30B and a melt pump. Tooling employed are spiral mandrel extrusion dies and disc calibrating sleeves with cooling pre-chamber and spray ring. The length of the cooling section consisting of vacuum tank and cooling baths totals to 27 meters. Other downstream equipment includes twin belt haul-off capable of high-speed production, swarfless flying knife cutter and semi-automatic coiler HW1300/2.
Building on the strength of its technologically advanced equipment and comprehensive engineering know-how, Battenfeld China also plays a leading role in the local market for large-diameter pipe extrusion lines. In August and November 2008, the company delivered two large-diameter poly-ethylene pipe lines for pipes with maximum diameters of 800 mm and 1200 mm respectively. The 1200 mm HDPE pipe production line has been fully in operation at a customer’s plant since January 2009. The extrusion line is equipped with a single-screw extruder with 150 mm screw and an L/D ratio of 30. Its maximum output is 1500 kg per hour.
