Fränkische now present on the Iberian Peninsula: Raditherm becomes Fränkische Iberica
The Königsberg company continues its international expansion. In addition to the USA, the Czech Republic, China, the UK and Russia, the pipe manufacturer now also has a branch in Spain, through the purchase of the wholesaler Raditherm, with which the company has worked successfully for many years and which is now FRÄNKISCHE IBÉRICA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fränkische Rohrwerke. “Fränkische Rohrwerke products already formed the core of the Raditherm range and it was, therefore, logical to enter the Spanish market by taking over Raditherm. This will allow us to develop the business based on a solid foundation with strong support from the parent company,” Michael Huck, Executive Director Housing Market, explains the rationale behind the strategic decision. The offices and adjacent warehouses are on the outskirts of Madrid, where some 25% of sales are generated.
